Hello Sebastien et al,
It's been a while since Tom and I posted on this list, and we just
wanted to let you know of our final decision to go with J2EE instead of
trying to develop an Enterprise Application Framework in Python. Since
J2EE provides everything we need and there are good open source
implementations available (JBoss, Jonas), we felt it would not be our
place to reinvent these low-level architectural tools. We're now
commencing development in J2EE on a receipting system as part of a larger
project for providing OSS software for non-profits (URL:
http://daniel.sf.net/). Thanks for all of your help and for the
interesting discussions and input.
Matt
